索具是指与绳缆配套使用的器材，如钩、松紧器、紧索夹、套环、卸扣等，统称索具，也有把绳缆归属于索具的。索具主要有金属索具和合成纤维索具两大类。包括各桅杆、桅桁(桅横杆)、帆桁(帆脚杆)、斜桁和所有索、链以及用来操作这些的用具的总的术语。
Rigs refer to the equipment used in conjunction with cables, such as hooks, tighteners, clamps, rings, buckles and so on. They are collectively referred to as rigging, and some of them belong to rigging. There are two main types of rigging: metal rigging and synthetic fiber rigging. Includes masts, masts (crossbars), sail trusses (poles), diagonal trusses and all cables, chains, and general terms used to operate these tools.
